World Arabic Language Day

Today we celebrate the World Arabic Language Day under the slogan « Innovative pathways of the Arabic language: policies and practices for a more inclusive linguistic future ». Arabic is a pillar of the pillars of the cultural diversity of humanity, and it is spoken daily by more than 400 million people. This day marks the anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations General Assembly of Arabic as the sixth official language of the organization on December 18, 1973.
